Pet Pals rescue column: Week of Aug. 31

Bambi needs a new foster

Bambi is losing his foster parents next week. Please help find him a home. He is such a sweet boy, with one of the most interesting personalities. I swear, he could be a human, in a way. He is laid back, loves to cuddle and watch TV or sit nearby while you read a book. He is fine with other dogs, and would be better in a quiet home where he can be loved forever. Please call 239-281-0739.

Rescued from the Shelter -- Little Jack

Article Photos

Ava.

This little guy was stuck in a Kill Shelter and got rescued last week! He could not go to adoption since he was too scared (you'd be scared, too, if you were in a noisy place full of echoes and animals much bigger than you).

He is not your typical Jack Russell Terrier. He is happy but not overly crazy or nervous. He will become very well-balanced in the right home. He is very friendly and really coming around, and good with other dogs, since he is still young, coming for love and wagging his tail a lot. That's always a good sign!

We took him into a quiet room to get him relaxed and it worked. Big difference from the loud kennel. He's good with cats, as well! A great little guy. If you are interested in adopting this darling soul, please call 239-338-8184.

Pancho the puppy

Pancho is a just a pup. He acts like one and has a lot of energy. His foster Mom describes him as "Espiegle," French for little rascal! He is a good boy, and just like other puppies, needs a parent who will give him lots of love and structuring. He will make a great little dog. Very social and outgoing and unique looking. He has quite a story to tell, for sure. Pancho is around a year old and is a mix between a chihuahua and a pomeranian. Please call 239-281-0739 to meet him.

Beautiful Baby Cake

This young girl was found roaming around the middle of the state. A good samaritan brought her to safety. She has been in boarding and really needs to be in a home with another dog. She is very social and loves to play. She is about 30 pounds, a great size, and long and beautiful. Her coat is absolutely gorgeous and very uncommon. She is not even a year old. If interested in meeting beautiful Baby Cake, please call 239-281-0739.

Finding Ava's forever home

This beautiful, very sweet girl was found on the street a year ago, adopted to a family who had no time for her. Ava stayed in a crate all day and was crated again all night. Border Collies are very active and need room to play and run. We took her back and won't make that mistake again! She's now in boarding and plays very well in groups. No more cages day and night. Ava is a free spirit who needs to finally find her loving forever home. If you are interested in meeting her, please call 239-281-0739.

Sister kitten calicos

Please help Lizzie and Cali find their forever home. These calicos are gorgeous, and are oh-so-sweet! Call 239-851-3485.
