Forever Love with Pancho

Pancho is a just a pup. He acts like one and has a lot of energy and weighs only 11 pounds. He was a stray and was brought to the Shelter where he got scared and was not able to get in adoption. Nobody came for him that day and he was almost put down, but luckily he stepped in and rescued him. His foster Mom describes him as "Espiegle," French for little rascal! He is a good boy, and just like other puppies, needs a parent who will give him lots of love and structuring. He will make a great little dog. Very social and outgoing and unique looking. He has quite a story to tell, for sure. Pancho is around a year old and is a mix between a chihuahua and a pomeranian. Please call 239-281-0739 to meet him.

Ryder LOVES to swim

Article Photos

Pancho.

This is Ryder, the most spectacular almost-2-year-old boy out there. He is cool and funny, and loves being outside playing fetch. Do you like to swim? Ryder is a great swimmer! He's learned so much since being with his foster mom. He loves people and loves going for walks, too. He would do really well with a doggy playmate. He's not a couch potato, so an active family is best. He's really great with kids, too. At the end of the day, he likes to cuddle and spends his evenings hanging with his foster mom, Lyndsey, at her feet or laying next to her on the couch He really likes to be close to his loved ones. His foster mom is so proud of how much he's learned. Come say hi! Call 239-281-0739.

Poor Fritz was surrendered rather than taken to vet

This little guy end it up at the Shelter after his owner decided to surrender him after a minor health scare. Just like that, the person decided to end his pet's life. He didn't want to pay the money to go to the Vet so he brought him to a High-Kill Shelter instead. What kind of person would do this to his supposed beloved pet?

Of course Fritz got better and perfectly healthy. He was so scared at the Shelter, he was put on the Don't Adopt list. We decided to meet him and he was petrified. He could not move, just standing there looking at us with his big eyes. We always take the dogs to a quiet room to see how they are and if they relax and generally it works like a charm. No noise. We sit on the floor and try to break the ice.

Fritz is now in foster care and we just got our first report on him tonight. He walked in the house, went everywhere including a visit in the garden, and is much better. He is a happy boy again and we would love to give him a second chance at a happy life. If you are interested, please call 239-281-0739.
