The first member art show of the season for members of the Fort Myers Beach Art Association takes place Thursday, Oct. 13, through Thursday, November 3 with free admission to the public during gallery hours.

The association would like to congratulate beginning watercolor instructor, Sue Pink, for receiving the prestigious 2016 Carol Ann Sherman Memorial Award. Her winning work titled, "Leguna Pueblo", will be on display in the show as part of the 45th Annual Florida Watercolor Society Exhibition held at the College of Central Florida-CF Webber Gallery, Ocala, Fla., from Sept. 6 through Friday, October 21. Pink is offering two beginning watercolor class series. The first is from Wednesday, Nov. 9 through Monday, Dec. 19. The next series is from Monday, Jan. 9 through Feb. 20.
